ICE CREAM TORTE 
1 c. slivered almonds
1 c. angel coconut
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
2 1/2 c. Wheat Chex (or shredded wheat)
1-2 qts. ice cream

Melt butter and lightly brown the almonds. Gradually add the Wheat Chex to the mix. Place half of the mix on the bottom of the pan. Spoon on ice cream. Spread the rest of the mix on top. Chill and serve. NOTE: Don't forget the chocolate sauce on top.
