1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1 egg
Chopped nuts
Jam

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolk. Beat. Add flour. Form dough in balls. Dip in slightly beaten egg whites. Roll in chopped nuts. Press center. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Remove from oven. Fill center with jam. Bake 10-15 minutes more or until done.
