APPLE PUDDING CAKE 
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg, beaten
4 tbsp. butter, melted
3 to 4 c. apples, chopped
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar and soda. Set aside. Combine egg, melted butter, apples and cinnamon. Mix well. Add flour mixture and mix well. Pour into a pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. While cake is baking, mix together in saucepan, brown sugar, remaining white sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and water. Cook until mixture is clear, approximately 20 minutes. Add butter and vanilla. Stir until butter melts and pour over hot cake.
