CHOCOLATE CREAM DROPS 
1/2 c. Imperial & 1/2 c. shortening or 1 c. Imperial
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 well beaten egg
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tbsp. vanilla
2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted & cooled
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans, chopped very fine (opt.)

Cream butter, cheese and sugar. Add egg, milk (room temperature) and vanilla. Stir in cooled chocolate. Sift dry ingredients; mix and add to batter; blend well. Stir in nuts. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
