1 c. salad oil
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. molasses
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients together and pour into a tube pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour 10 minutes. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes then turn out on cloth to finish cooling.
