BASIC ROAST MARINADE 
1/2 c. wine vinegar
1/4 c. catsup
2 tbsp. cooking oil
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard

Place roast in clear plastic bag. Put bag in deep bowl. Pour marinade in bag. Tie closed. Marinate meat 2-3 hours at room temperature. Occasionally press bag against meat to distribute marinade. Place roast on rack in uncovered pan. Bake at 325 degrees. Baste with marinade last hour.

Beef = 4-6 lbs., 2 1/2 hours or to 150-170 degree thermometer.

Pork = 2 1/4 lbs. - 3 hours, or to 170 degrees on thermometer.
