Cut 1/2 pound bacon into 1/2 inch square and fry crisp; drain and spread over bottom of crust. Then combine the rest of the ingredients in a blender or food processor. 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell 1 c. tofu 1 c. milk 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese 1 egg 1/2 tsp. salt Pepper to taste Blend until very smooth; pour over bacon in the pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes until edges begin to puff and crack and the center is fairly set. Cool for 5 minutes before serving. |
