CHALUPPA'S 
3 lbs. ground beef
2 c. chopped green onion
2 or 3 green peppers
2 lg. cans refried beans
Lettuce
Tomato
Avocado
Grated cheese

Slowly cook ground beef with green onions and green peppers. When tender add refried beans and let simmer for 30 to 45 minutes covered.

Fry tortillas flat, until crisp. Fry about 2 or 3 per person.

Make salad with lettuce, tomato, green pepper, avocado and anything else you may desire. No dressing needed.

To build the chaluppa, put meat mixture on flat tortilla. Add grated cheese, then top with the salad and add any kind of chili sauce or hot sauce you wish.
