BOILED RAISIN CAKE 
1 c. raisins
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1 c. raisin water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 c. flour

Cover raisins with water. Boil 20 minutes.

Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for about 30 minutes or longer.
