BOILED RAISIN CAKE 
3 c. raisins, boil 40 minutes and let cool
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda, add to flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. water raisins were boiled in
3 c. flour
1 c. English walnuts, if desired
Pinch of salt

Add raisins and nuts to cake mix. Add vanilla. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake until done.

FIVE MINUTE ICING:

6 tbsp. brown sugar
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. milk or canned milk (canned milk makes frosting creamy)

Boil together. Then add 2 cups of powdered sugar or add powdered sugar until frosting spread nice over cake. Add vanilla. This makes a large flat pan cake or 2 small square cake pans.
