PLANTATION RIBS 
1/2 c. molasses
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. hot sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
4 lbs. spareribs

Combine first 6 ingredients in a saucepan; bring mixture to a boil. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cut ribs into serving size pieces; place meaty side down in a large shallow baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 450 degrees for 30 minutes. Drain off excess fat. Reduce hat to 350 degrees. Turn ribs over, and bake an additional 50 to 60 minutes. Brush ribs with sauce during last 30 minutes of cooking. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
