CRANBERRY NUT BREAD 
2 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 egg
1 c. jellied cranberry sauce, crushed with fork
2 tbsp. melted shortening

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together onto waxed paper the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, soda, and cinnamon. Add walnuts. In mixing bowl, beat egg. Add cranberry sauce and shortening. Add dry ingredients; stir until just blended. Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool on rack.
