FRESH STRAWBERRY SAUCE 
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 c. sliced strawberries

Combine thoroughly in this order. Bring to a boil, then simmer gently 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly until clear and thickened. Serve warm over pancakes or waffles. Also, good over ice cream.
