HEAVENLY DESSERT 
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Sift together dry ingredients.

Beat 1 whole egg. Add egg and 1 regular size (#303) can of fruit cocktail, juice and all to flour mixture. Beat well. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 inch cake pan.

Mix 1/2 cup chopped nuts with 1 cup brown sugar and sprinkle over the top of the cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Delicious served with whipped topping or Cool Whip.
