STEWED POTATOES 
4 sm. potatoes

Cut up potatoes. Cover with water. Cook about 15 minutes on medium-high heat. The potatoes will still be firm. Leave about 3/4 cup water in the pan. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper and 1 1/2 tablespoons butter. Put 2 tablespoons cornstarch in 2/3 cup milk and mix. Add to the potatoes and cook on medium heat until juice has thickened.
