AMERICAN CHOP SUEY 
1 or 2 lbs. hamburger
Macaroni (depends on how many you are serving)
2 cans stewed tomatoes
1 med. onion, chopped
1 med. green pepper (optional), chopped

Brown hamburger and onions together in a skillet (also pepper if you desire). Drain off excess grease. Cook macaroni according to package directions (do not overcook!). Add stewed tomatoes to cooked hamburger, then add macaroni and simmer over low heat until all ingredients are warm. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Can be served topped with Parmesan cheese. Also personal preference - I prefer homemade spaghetti sauce in place of stewed tomatoes.
