SPICEY SEASONED NUTS 
2 c. walnut halves
1 c. pecan halves
1 c. blanched slivered almonds
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. salt
1 pinch red pepper

Preheat oven to 300°F. Line jelly roll type pan (with sides) with foil. Place nuts on foil. Melt butter and add seasonings, stirring well. Pour mixture over nuts on foil and toss to coat.

Bake 30 to 45 minutes till crisp. Sprinkle with salt.

Makes 4 cups.
