LEMON CRISPS 
1 3/4 c. shortening
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 eggs
2 tsp. grated lemon rind
5 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Mix the ingredients together well, then form the dough into small balls. Place them on a cookie sheet and flatten them. Bake the cookies at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
