ONIONS BAKED IN CREAM 
2 Bermuda onions, sliced in 1/4 inch slices
Salt & pepper
Light cream
1/2 c. buttered crumbs

Arrange onion slices in a shallow greased casserole in layers. Sprinkle each layer with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Pour over light cream just to top off onions. Top with crumbs and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Onions should be crisp rather than soft. Serves 4 to 6, depending on size of onions.
