ORIENTAL COLE SLAW 
1 head Chinese cabbage
1 bunch green onions
1 stick butter
1 pkg. sliced almonds
1 oz. sesame seeds
2 pkg. Ramen noodles
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
3/4 c. vegetable oil

Chop cabbage and onions. Brown butter, almonds and sesame seeds. Add crushed noodles. Cool and add to cabbage. This can all be done a few hours ahead.

Twenty minutes before serving, mix and boil 1 minute. The sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and vegetable oil. Cool and pour over salad.
