OVEN FRIED CHICKEN 
1 frying chicken, cut up
1 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. paprika
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Put shortening and butter in baking pan, 9 x 13 inches and melt in oven. Dip chicken pieces in dry ingredients. Place in pan, skin side down in melted shortening. Bake for 30 minutes or until browned on top. Turn chicken over and bake for 30 more minutes.
