KIDNEY BEANS FOR COMPANY 
2 cans kidney beans
3 tbsp. juice, saved from beans, drain rest of liquid
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. sherry
4 tbsp. chives
1/2 pt. sour cream

Mix all together, except for sour cream. Bake, covered, in shallow baking dish at 300 degrees for an hour or so.

Gently stir and mix after removing from oven. Spread top with an "icing" of sour cream, then sprinkle with chives. This is something different, and absolutely divine with ham! Serves 6-8.
