NOODLES NAPOLI 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. sausage meat
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 clove garlic, minced
1 pkg. fine noodles
2 cans tomatoes
1/2 c. water
1 pimento, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Mix ground beef and sausage meat; shape into a large patty in a large frying pan; brown 5 minutes on each side, then break into chunks. Remove and set aside.

Pour off all drippings, then measure 3 tablespoons and return to pan; stir in onion and garlic and saute just until soft. Add uncooked noodles; continue cooking, stirring often, until noodles are toasty-golden.

Stir in tomatoes, water, pimento, salt and browned meat; cover. Simmer, stirring often, 10 minutes; stir in cheese; cover again. Cook 10 minutes longer, or until noodles are tender and cheese is melted.
