GLAZED ONIONS 
4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter
2 lg. onions, sliced
3 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt

In a 4-quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot butter, cook onions until tender, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

To onions in saucepan, add sugar, salt, and 1 tablespoon water; over medium heat, cook until onions are golden and glazed. Makes 6 servings, about 120 calories per serving.
