SESAME GREEN BEANS | |
1 1/2 lbs. green beans 2 tsp. sesame seeds 3 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tbsp. salad oil Wash and trim beans. If very long, cut each in half. In small saucepan, over medium heat, stir sesame seeds until golden brown and remove from heat. In a 3 quart saucepan heat beans to boiling. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 10 minutes or until beans are tender-crisp, stirring occasionally. Drain. Add soy sauce to beans in pan and cook 10 minutes longer over low heat, stirring frequently. Sprinkle sesame seeds over beans and serve warm. Or cover and refrigerate to serve cold. 6 servings. |
