SAUCY MEATBALLS 
1 lb. lean ground beef
2/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
2 tbsp. shortening
1 tbsp. flour
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1/3 c. Heinz 57 sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

Combine meat, cheese, milk, and egg. Shape into 20 meatballs, brown well in shortening. Drain fat. Sprinkle meatballs with flour, stir gently to coat. Combine tomatoes, 57 sauce, salt and pepper. Pour over meatballs. Simmer uncovered for 25 minutes. Serves over noodles or rice.
