SCALLOPED POTATOES 
3 c. thinly sliced potatoes
1 c. thinly sliced onion
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. plain flour
1/4 c. butter
1 c. scalded milk

Place layers of potatoes and onion in a 1 1/2 quart baking dish (greased) and dot with butter. Pour milk over all and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until tender. (Sprinkle flour lightly over each layer of potatoes and onion). Shredded cheese may be added over the top for the last 10 minutes of baking.
