SCALLOPED POTATOES 
4 c. thinly sliced pared raw potatoes
2/3 c. minced onion
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. scalded milk

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Arrange layer potatoes in greased 2 quart casserole. Cover with some onion; sprinkle some of combined flour, salt and pepper on top. Dot with some butter. Repeat layers until all are used, ending with butter. Pour milk over; sprinkle with paprika. Cover and bake 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer or until tender.

Note: Can add ham or pork chops in center layer.

Serves 4.
