MOM'S FROZEN FRUIT SHERBET 
1 can fruit cocktail, lg., drain & reserve juice
Several lg. ripe bananas, mashed
2 lg. eggs, separated, may substitute Cool Whip or 10 oz. whipped cream for egg whites
1 c. approx. sugar
2 lemons, juiced

Measure liquid from fruit cocktail, add water to make 1 cup. Crush fruit, add bananas and blend. Add lemon juice and sugar to juice mix. Blend in fruits and beaten egg yolks, then fold in beaten whites or Cool Whip, etc. Freeze until thickened and icy around the edges.

Whip in mixer and return quickly to freezer. Repeat as above once or twice more. Freeze until desired consistency for serving. I like it best a little frothy.
