BISHOP'S BREAD 
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts
1 c. dates
1 c. maraschino cherries
1/4 lb. bar sweet chocolate (broken into small pieces)

Cream eggs and sugar. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Sift over dates, nuts, cherries, and chocolate. Add to first mixture. Grease loaf pan; line bottom with waxed paper. Pour in batter. Bake approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool and slice thin for serving.
