MICROWAVE STUFFED WHOLE CABBAGE 
1 (2 lb.) head cabbage
1 lb. ground beef
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/3 c. minute rice
1 egg
1 env. dry onion soup mix
1/4 tsp. thyme

Remove core from cabbage; hollow out center. Combine remaining ingredients in bowl, mixing well. Spoon into cabbage shell. Place in 1 1/2 quart glass baking dish. Microwave tightly covered, on high for 17 minutes, turning after 9 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Yields 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
