PORK CHOPS MONTEREY 
6 pork chops 1" thick
6 lg. onions
1/3 c. brown sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/3 c. chili sauce

Trim excess fat from chops and arrange in baking dish. Top each with an onion slice. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chops. Cover tightly and bake in a 350 degree oven for 1-1 1/2 hours until tender.
