MONTEREY JACK FILLED BEEF 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 tbsp. barbecue sauce
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
3 tbsp. freeze-dry chives
2 tbsp. water

Combine meat, bread crumbs, barbecue sauce, egg, and salt. Mix well. Pat mixture into 8 x 14 inch rectangle on foil or wax paper. Combine cheese, bread crumbs, chives, and water. Pat over meat mixture. Roll jelly roll fashion, starting at narrow end. Chill several hours or overnight. Slice into 6 or 7 servings. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
