POOR MAN'S BEEF WELLINGTON 
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 can golden mushroom soup (divided)
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. stuffing mix, finely crushed
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/3 c. water
1 pkg. (8 oz.) crescent rolls (refrigerator)

Mix thoroughly 1/2 cup of soup with beef, egg, stuffing mix, onion, salt and Worcestershire sauce. Shape firmly into loaf.

In shallow baking pan, bake at 375 degrees for one hour. Spoon off drippings. Cover loaf with roll dough and bake 15 minutes more.

Mix water with remaining soup; heat, stirring occasionally, and serve as sauce with the meat loaf. Serves 6-8.
