BARBECUED CHUCK ROAST
(MICROWAVE)
 
1 c. barbecue sauce
1 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 garlic, minced
1 tbsp. beef bouillon granules
3 lbs. boneless beef chuck roast

Cut 1 inch strips from open end of 14x20 inch cooking bag; set aside. Combine barbecue sauce, garlic, flour, and bouillon. Place roast in bag. Spoon sauce mixture evenly over roast. Secure bag with reserved strips. Place bag in a 7x11 inch microproof baking dish. Cook on "30" for 30 minutes; turn bag over. Cook on "30" for 35 to 40 minutes. Make barbecue beef sandwiches with leftover roast by shredded it, mix with sauce to moisten and heat with buns. 6 to 8 servings.

Total cooking time: 65 to 70 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
