1/2 box graham crackers
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4-1 c. chopped pecans

Break crackers along scored lines. Lay on cookie sheets with enclosed sides, touching. Melt butter (do not allow it to brown). Gradually add sugar. Bring to boil. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add vanilla. Place pecans on crackers.

Spoon syrup onto crackers. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet quickly onto wire rack. Cut apart if necessary. Store between layers of wax paper in airtight container. Makes approximately 48 servings.
