1 pkg. yellow cake mix (or German chocolate cake mix)
1/2 c. Pet milk
1 c. chocolate chips
14 oz. caramels
1/2 c. butter
1 c. pecans

Mix cake mix as per directions on package. Pour half of the batter into a greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Melt caramels, milk and butter over low heat. Pour over hot cake. Sprinkle chips and pecans over caramel mixture. Top with the rest of the batter. Bake 15 minutes.
