TOMATO SOUP CAKE | |
1 tbsp. butter 1 c. sugar 1 can tomato soup, regular size 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. raisins, covered with sm. amount of flour 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. cloves 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 2 c. regular flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/8 tsp. salt Cream butter with sugar. Add soup and baking soda and mix well. Add raisins, nuts and spices; mix. Finally add flour, baking powder and salt; stir by hand until thoroughly mixed. Place in an 8 inch square greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 35 minutes or until tester comes out clean. Serves 6-8. |
