CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar (part brown sugar, if desired)
1/4 c. peanut butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cornflakes
1 c. rolled oats

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in peanut butter, egg and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients until mixed. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
