CHERRY BERRY SLUSH | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen red raspberries or 1 1/2 c. fresh raspberries, thawed 1/2 of 16 oz. pkg. frozen unsweetened pitted dark sweet cherries or 2 c. fresh pitted dark sweet cherries 1 (6 oz.) can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed 1 (24 oz.) bottle lemon-lime carbonated, chilled Lime slices (optional) Thaw frozen fruit (do not drain). Place berries in blender container (cover), blend until smooth - strain and discard seeds - transfer strained berries to medium mixing bowl - put cherries in blender - add apple juice concentrate and cover and blend until smooth. Add to berries in bowl - transfer to freezer container - freeze overnight or up to 2 months. For each 10 ounce serving, spoon 3/4 cup mixture into 10 ounce tumbler - slowly add 4 ounces carbonated beverage - stir gently - garnish with lime slice if desired. Makes 6 (10 ounce) servings. |
