| HAM HASH BROWN CASSEROLE | |

1 (1 lb.) bag frozen hash browns, thawed 1/2 c. butter, melted 1 can cream of chicken soup 8 oz. sour cream Salt and pepper, to taste 1 1/2 c. mild cheddar cheese, shredded 1/2 c. onion, chopped 2 c. ham, cubed Mix together all ingredients. Put in 9 x 13 pan. Mix 2 cups crushed cereal and 1/2 cup butter. Put over top and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. | |

I used a small onion (about 1 cup) and it kind of over powered the rest of flavors. I also added mushrooms then sauteed the ham, mushrooms and onion together till onion was translucent. I used corn flakes for the topping and they worked well. My family liked it and said they would like to have it again.
