HERB BREAD 
1 loaf Italian bread (or French)
1/2 lb. butter, melted
1 tbsp. basil leaves, dried
1 tbsp. parsley, dried, crumbled; if fresh, cut up
1 tbsp. chives, cut up
Dash Tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp. lemon juice

Add herbs to melted butter. Slice bread, and use about 2 teaspoons melted sauce on each slice. Wrap in foil and heat in oven. Cook about 1/2 hour or until heated through at 325 degrees. Makes about 21 slices.
