HERB BREAD 
1 loaf whole wheat bread or sour dough French bread
2 sticks butter, softened
2 tbsp. minced onions
1 tbsp. poppy seeds
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. beau monde seasoning (Spice Island)
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 pkg. processed Swiss cheese slices (16 slice size)

Place bread in large piece of heavy duty aluminum foil (enough to fold up over top and at ends of bread). Cut 16 diagonal slices down length of bread, 1/2 to 3/4 the way down. Unwrap and fold Swiss cheese slices and insert in diagonal cuts. Mix all remaining ingredients to form a paste and frost top and sides of bread. Fold. Close top and ends of foil and bake for 20 mintues at 350 degrees. Let cool for 5 to 6 minutes. Slice pieces through. Can be served warm or cold.
