CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS 
CAKE:

1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus devils food or chocolate fudge cake mix
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) semi sweet chocolate pieces

Mix cake ingredients and stir by hand until well mixed. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees in 12"x19" greased and floured pan.

Combine sugar, butter and milk. Boil. Stir constantly for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate pieces until smooth. Pour over warm cake.
