MEXICAN PLATTER 
1 can refried beans
2 to 3 lbs. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
Taco seasonings
Salsa (mild, med., or hot)
Shredded Cheddar cheese

SIDE ITEMS:

Jalapeno peppers
Extra salsa
Sour cream
Guacamole

Brown ground beef and onion. Drain. Season with taco seasoning. Layer in large casserole: Refried beans, salsa, cheese, meat, salsa, and cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese melts through. Serve with side items and chips. Great for party or meal.
