BAKED CARROTS AND APPLES 
8 med. carrots
1 (20 oz.) can pie apples (not pie filling), drained
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter

Pare and slice (lengthwise) carrots and cook in salted water for 15 minutes (until tender). Drain and combine with apples. Pour into small baking dish and top with sugar, butter and sprinkling of cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
