CARAMEL CORN 
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. corn syrup
6 qts. popped corn
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts (optional)

Boil sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add baking powder. Stir well. Put popped corn in 9 x 13 inch pans. Pour hot mixture over corn and stir well. Bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Store in covered container.
