1 1/2 c. tomato juice 1 sm. can tomatoes 1 med. onion, chopped 1 c. chopped celery 3 c. chopped cabbage 4 beef bouillon cubes 3 qt. water 1 c. chopped carrots Cook all of above ingredients until tender (about 1 1/2 hours). You may add any canned vegetables, such as green beans, okra and mushrooms, with juices. 187 calories per gallon! Makes approximately 1 1/2 gallons. |
