DOOTZ'S SLUMGULLION
This recipe was made in a dutch oven over a campfire for years when the whole family would go on a float trip. We'd be so hungry after floating all day, we'd lick the pan clean!

2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can green beans, undrained
1 can corn, undrained
1 can peas, undrained
1 can diced carrots, undrained
1 can white potatoes, diced, undrained
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 lb. elbow macaroni, uncooked
1 can water, if needed (use empty vegetable can)
salt and pepper, to taste

Brown ground beef; salt and pepper to taste. Add onion; cook with meat until translucent/tender. Add all cans of vegetables; bring to boil. Add elbow macaroni and simmer until reaches desired tenderness. Add another can of water, if needed for elbow macaroni to soak up.

Consistency should be runny/moist, but not soupy.

Serve with salad and crackers or bread of choice. Some kind of chewy bread (Italian, sourdough, etc.) was always best for sopping up any leftover liquid in our bowls.

Enjoy!
