BEEF & BROCCOLI | |
3/4 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak 1 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 clove garlic, minced 1 med. onion, cut in wedges 1 can cream of broccoli soup 1/4 c. water 1 tbsp. soy sauce 2 c. broccoli flowerets Hot cooked noodles Slice beef across the grain into very thin strips. (To make slicing easier, freeze beef 1 hour before slicing.) In skillet, over medium-high heat, in hot oil, cook beef and garlic until beef is browned. Add onion. Cook 5 minutes, stirring often. Stir in soup, water and soy sauce. Heat to boiling. Add broccoli. Reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve over noodles. |
